Leeds United could be crowned Champions very soon, but the obstacle of Plymouth stands in their way.

Despite their inevitable relegation, the Pilgrims aren’t going into this game to mess about as Miron Muslic wants to ruin Leeds’ title.

But Daniel Farke will know of their threat and will be hoping to continue the Whites’ stellar form during the run-in.

It’s clear that Leeds were always destined for promotion back to the Premier League this season, but Farke will know the fans want the title, as will he.

Larry Nance Jr sent inspiration to Leeds’ camp, but what Eddie Gray was doing before the game on Friday night shows why he is a true legend.

It was an extraordinary day when Leeds secured promotion after a 6-0 drubbing against Stoke City, so winning the title would just top off a marvellous season.

The fact Daniel Farke could be sacked is mindblowing after this rollercoaster campaign which could see the Whites end up on 100 points.

Burnley have battled Leeds to the final day as there isn’t much separating the two sides.

As the game has been gearing up, thousands of Leeds fans have made the long trip down to Devon and are gearing up for what could be a special day.

This includes Gray, who was spotted with fans in great spirits, as the Whites icon even started a ‘Marching On Together’ chant, showing how much it would mean to him if Leeds won the title.

Farke can save Leeds job with title win over Burnley

It’s clear that Farke’s future will be assessed after this game, but if Leeds do triumph and win the title, the 49ers will have no choice but to keep him.

Not only does he deserve a chance in the Premier League, but to win a trophy for the first time since Marcelo Bielsa, and in person, will only grow the admiration fans have for their manager.

A sacking not long after this won’t go down well in the slightest, potentially creating a toxic atmosphere between the hierarchy and fans.

The risk is too high, and even if the Whites don’t win today, Farke should still stay in his post.

Gray himself is baffled at the Farke rumours, and the hope is that this won’t be his final game as Leeds boss.
