A DRIVER has been arrested following an alleged hit-and-run which left a woman in hospital.
Cops raced to an address in Castlemilk, Glasgow, after the alarm was raised on Friday morning.

Enquiries into the incident on Birgidale Road are ongoing
They said a 31-year-old woman was knocked down by a car and taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Police officers remained in the area in an attempt to trace the driver.
They later revealed a 33-year-old woman had been arrested in connection with the alleged incident at Birgidale Road and Downcraig Road.
Police Scotland said their enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson said: “Around 10.25am on Friday, May 2, 2025, we received a report of a 31-year-old woman struck by a car on Birgidale at Downcraig Road, Castlemilk.
“She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“A 33-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff court at a later date.”
