Telly watchers are in for a treat this week, as the new slate of shows arriving on the small screen promises to be utterly worth your time. All the rumours about which Bridgerton sibling will be taking front and centre stage in seasons five and six will be pushed to the back of viewers’ minds, thanks to the return of season four, set to sweep you off your feet.
Bridgerton isn’t the only popular returning show on the horizon, as BBC’s hit crime series Death in Paradise is back with Siobhan Finneran set to guest star. New releases also fill out the remainder of this week, including a Sky crime thriller and Disney’s stunning “knock-out” series Wonder Man that will blow you away. Death in Paradise, season 15
Death in Paradise returns for its 15th season, and the BBC promises it will be packed with “a myriad of baffling cases” (via the synopsis).
As fans bid farewell to Ginny Holder’s Officer Darlene Curtis, the series welcomes new recruit Sergeant Mattie Fletcher (Catherine Garton).
DI Mervin’s (Don Gilet) discomfort on the island is also about to increase as his attempts to reconnect with his long-lost brother aren’t the smooth-sailing bonding experience he had hoped for.

The returning Netflix period drama has previously been branded “addictive”, with praise for its “powerhouse performers” from a number of past season reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.
Now, the hotly anticipated fourth season of Bridgerton will finally arrive, and it sees Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha’s Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Baek take centre stage.
Expect lots more yearning.

Wonder Man
Already dubbed “one of the best shows in the MCU to date“, Marvel’s series Wonder Man – which we gave five stars in our own review – lands this week, and is not to be missed.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II slips into the role of aspiring Hollywood actor Simon Williams, who is desperately trying to get his career in motion when his path crosses with washed up actor Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley), best known for his infamous role as The Mandarin.
Their luck seems to turn around when they get the chance to audition for the lead parts in legendary director Von Kovak’s (Zlatko Burić) remake of the superhero film “Wonder Man”. Their life-changing opportunity is thrown into jeopardy, however, by Simon’s secret. His powers.
