Leading British lifestyle brand The White Company has announced the upcoming opening of a new standalone store at The Trafford Centre, Manchester, set to welcome customers on 20 March 2026.
Building on more than two decades of success trading within Selfridges at The Trafford Centre, the new store will occupy a prime location on Lower Regent Crescent, just off the Main Dome.
Spanning around 5,600 square feet, including 4,000 square feet of trading space, it promises to deliver an elevated shopping experience and the brand’s widest-ever product range at the centre.
This launch marks The White Company’s fourth standalone store within a major UK shopping centre and the largest since openings at Bluewater and Westfield London. The expansion highlights the brand’s careful approach to selecting premium retail destinations, now operating 79 stores across the UK and Ireland.

Founded over 30 years ago by Chrissie Rucker OBE, The White Company has grown from a small range of white linens into one of the UK’s most recognisable lifestyle brands offering timeless homeware, luxe wardrobe staples, and beautifully crafted everyday essentials.
With flagship stores in London, Dublin, and Dubai, as well as a presence in Nordstrom stores across the US, the brand’s reach continues to expand internationally.
In 2024, The White Company achieved Certified B Corporation status, reflecting its dedication to high standards of social and environmental impact, as well as ethical and sustainable business practices.

Speaking about the new opening, Kelly Clarke, Chief People & Retail Officer at The White Company, said:
“Trafford’s unique retail offering, coupled with our previous success in Selfridges, was a key factor in our decision to bring The White Company to the centre – it’s the perfect home for the brand to showcase our collections. This opening cements our continued commitment to investing in bricks-and-mortar retail, and we look forward to welcoming new customers to explore our Spring collections.”
