An urgent search has been launched to find a missing woman who left her car in a car park near to a football stadium. Cheryl Ward, 53, was reported as missing after leaving home in the Henhull area of Crewe at around 11.52am on Monday (February 2).
Cheshire Police said it is believed she then travelled by car and parked it near to the Nantwich Football Stadium, on Rease Heath Way, before leaving the area on foot.
Cheryl is described as white, around 5ft 4ins tall, with brown eyes and long brown hair with blonde highlights. A photo of Cheryl was shared as part of a public appeal for information.

As part of ongoing enquiries, officers are now appealing for help from the public in locating Cheryl and have appealed directly to her, saying: “Your family are growing increasingly worried about you”.
Inspector Claire Miles, of Cheshire Constabulary, said: “We have been conducting a number of enquiries to located Cheryl since she was reported missing to us and, as part of those enquiries, we are now appealing to the public for help in reporting any potential sightings of her.
“As reported, we believe Cheryl travelled to near to the Nantwich football ground on Rease Heath Way and then left the area on foot during the day, so we would ask anyone who lives in the area or travelled nearby to please review any CCTV, dashcam or ring doorbell footage to see if they have picked her up on her travels.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to appeal directly to Cheryl and ask her to please contact us as your family are growing increasingly worried about you.”
