Council bin crews will be collecting household waste on Bank Holiday Monday.
Residents are advised to put their wheelie bins with grey lids out as usual on the holiday.
All of the council’s five tips are also open over the weekend.

Fresh talks between the Unite union, representing striking bin teams, and birmingham-city-council>Birmingham City Council ended without resolution at conciliation service Acas last week.

The council posted online on Friday, May 2: “Our bin collection teams will be working Bank Holiday Monday (5 May).
“Put your household waste bin (grey lid) out at your usual collection point.
“Our five Household Recycling Centres are also open over the bank holiday weekend.”

On Friday, bin lorries were subject to a ‘slight delay’ as they tried to leave three of the council’s tips.
Council bosses blamed the delay on Unite but did not say what it entailed.
Wagons were eventually able to leave the depots located in Tyseley, Perry Barr and Kings Norton.
The successful mobile tip service also remains suspended as crews are deployed to collecting rubbish off the streets.
