Oliver Norfolk, 38, and Ben Noble, 48, are the founders of Cybescape VR, a business which offers immersive virtual reality escape rooms in St Neots.
Both Oliver and Ben have worked in the film and TV industry, and Oliver has a background in immersive theatre production while Ben worked in building and design.
The pair decided to put their backgrounds together and team up back in 2024 to launch The Escape House, a traditional escape room venue with different themed rooms.
Oliver and Ben wanted to “push things further”, so combined their passion for tech with immersive storytelling to open Cybescape VR in May 2025, located in Fishers Yard.
In Cybescape VR, there are nine virtual reality escape room adventures suitable for ages 12 and up, with a variety of worlds to explore.
Players wear a wireless headset and are free to move around in the virtual world, interacting with objects and solving puzzles.

People have travelled from across the country to see what the pair have been building in St Neots.
“Of course, every journey has its challenges – from time delays to unexpected costs – but we’re committed to delivering the best customer experience possible.
“It’s been a lot of work, but hugely rewarding.”, Oliver and Ben said.
They have big plans coming for The Escape House and Cybescape VR too.
The duo are developing a brand-new physical escape room over at The Escape House, and have plans to create a new multiplayer action experience at Cybescape VR.
