When it comes to the rumors of whether or not Prince Harry is actually the son of King Charles and Princess Diana, the father of two says his father has made his feelings about the story perfectly clear. That’s because the Duke of Sussex claims that King Charles finds the whole topic quite funny, and had not problems making jokes about it during the prince’s childhood.

According to the Hello!, Prince Harry has spent a lot of time discussing his father’s attitude towards the infidelity rumors, especially within the pages of his book Spare.
“To this day nearly every biography of me, every longish profile in a paper or magazine, touches on Major Hewitt, treats the prospect of his paternity with some seriousness, including a description of the moment Pa finally sat me down for a proper heart-to-heart, reassuring me that Major Hewitt wasn’t my real father,” Prince Harry wrote. “Vivid scene, poignant, moving, and wholly made up. If Pa had any thoughts about Major Hewitt, he kept them to himself.”
One thing he didn’t keep to himself though, was his cruel sense of humor about the topic, according to Prince Harry, who wrote that King Charles once quipped about his ex-wife’s fidelity during an argument.
“Who knows if I’m really the Prince of Wales? Who knows if I’m even your real father? Maybe your real father is in Broadmoor, darling boy! He’d laugh and laugh, though it was a remarkably unfunny joke, given the rumor circulating just then that my actual father was one of Mummy’s former lovers.”
Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like things have gotten better between Prince Harry and his father. And given the fact that we haven’t heard any mention of Prince Harry’s plants to fly to the UK to attend Trooping the Colour this year, we can’t image they will anytime soon, either.
