TULSA, Okla. –
Tulsa will once again take center stage in the BMX world as hundreds of riders gather this weekend for a national showdown on two wheels.
The USA BMX Legacy Nationals and USA Cycling Elite BMX National Championships are rolling into Hardesty National BMX Stadium from May 9 to 11.
The three-day event will feature amateur and pro riders from around the globe competing for rankings and pride.
Here’s a breakdown of what you need to know:
The Schedule for the Event
- Friday: National races begin at 1:30 p.m.
- Saturday: National Races begin at 9:30 a.m., the Pro Series Main event at 1:30 p.m.
- Sunday: Races begin at 8 a.m.
The Event is free to the viewing public.
Star Power in the Mix
Some BMX stars will be in the mix with Team USA Olympians Kamren Larsen, Cam Wood and Tulsa resident and Olympian Peyton Ridenour racing this weekend.
