A WOMAN has been sexually assaulted in a gift shop at a historic castle.
The victim was attacked within Dover Castle, Kent, at around 1.30pm on Sunday, police have said.
Cops are hunting a man described as “white and in his 40s”.
He is described as having been wearing a black or grey tracksuit at the time of the attack.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: “It was reported that at around 1.30pm on Sunday 6 April 2025 a woman was sexually assaulted by a man in the wartime tunnels.
“The suspect is described as a white man in his 40s wearing a black or grey tracksuit.
“Officers have carried out a number of enquiries, including reviewing CCTV footage. Investigators are now appealing for witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police.
