Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale has confirmed the aftermath of Gail Loman’s surprise exit, revealing that Ryan Stocks will be offered some advice as he struggles with her being gone.

In emotional scenes that aired earlier this week, Gail’s exit played out after she decided to end her relationship with Ryan and move to Devon.

In tomorrow’s episode of the ITV soap, newly single Ryan despairs over his situation, still missing Gail.

His friend Ross Barton tries to convince him to forget about Gail and start dating again, but could Ross’s efforts backfire?

“Ross is keen to prove that he’s the best person in the village to offer advice on women,” our Emmerdale source shares.

“He believes that he has the gift of the gab around the ladies and wastes no time in trying to prove it in front of Ryan!

“Things haven’t been going so well for Ross in reality, though – Steph recently dumped him and Manpreet was far from impressed after the way he treated her with their rebound fling. Could Ross be in for a rude awakening after confidently offering his advice?”

After her final scenes as Gail aired, Rachael Gill-Davis took to social media to address her exit.

“Well… what a mad two years this has been. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has shown love and support for the character over these past two years,” she captioned some behind-the-scenes photos.

“The fans of Emmerdale are just fab and it’s been wonderful meeting some of you along the way. I did the absolute best with what I was given and it’s been lovely bringing a bit of humour to your screens now and again.”

Gail was first introduced as Ryan’s girlfriend in 2019, before returning to the soap in 2023 as a series regular.

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
