🐻 WELCOME TEAM WITH THE BEAR RUN

We’re calling all Bears fans to bring the noise for the final Bear Run of the season and welcome the team to Ashton Gate for Friday night’s blockbuster derby clash.

The Bear Run gives supporters the chance to come together and roar Pat Lam’s men into the stadium as they make their way from the team bus into the changing rooms, creating a wall of sound and colour 80 minutes before kick-off.

Supporters are encouraged to line up either side of the Players’ Entrance behind the Atyeo Stand for the arrival of the Bears squad in the team bus at approximately 6.25pm.

🙌 BEAR COUNTRY MATCHDAY FUN

The party starts from 5pm in Bear Country when the Fan Village and Independence Sports Bar open for business, with a wide range of food and drink available.

We pride ourselves on going local wherever we can – with more than 50% of our food and drink travelling less than 12 miles to us – so you’ll see all the usual West Country favourites from Thatchers Gold to Buxton & Bird Pies and Bristol Beer Factory to Mark’s Bread on offer here in BS3.

Don’t forget, if you are a Season Ticket Holder, you get an 10% off all stadium concessions while Members can receive 5%

🎶 LIVE MUSIC, FACE PAINTING AND MORE!

There’s entertainment galore in Bear Country for our Summer Session finale at home, with starting with live music on the Main Stage in the Fan Village from 5.45pm.

Elsewhere, there will be a DJ set to get the party started in the Bears Den when the turnstiles open at 5.45pm and you can get your face painted in the Lansdown Stand concourse from 6.15pm before hearing from a Bears first team player in the South Stand at approximately 7pm.

There’ll be additional pop-up bars in the Dolman Stand and South Stand concourses and backpack drink vendors selling draught and canned cider, beer and Guinness, as well as mobile food servers offering pasties, sausage rolls, crisps and chocolate.

🎙️ BEARS DEN Q&A IN SOUTH STAND

Bristol Bears first team players will join Downsy for another live Q&A with supporters.

📰 FEATURED CLUB CONNEXION TEAMS

Weston-Super-Mare, Chew Valley and Old Redcliffians are the featured Connexion clubs for the West Country derby showdown with Bath Rugby on Friday night.

Club Connexion is our local club partnership offer which supports the community clubs with coach education workshops, player development camps and many other benefits.

WestonSuper-Mare was home to the first minis section in England almost 50 years ago, with many of those juniors going on to represent the first team and coach the current juniors.

Located in Brislington, Old Redcliffians is a warm and welcoming club with a thriving junior section, four senior sides – including a National 2 first team – and a sevens team as well as a ladies side and a wide range of junior and mini teams.

Home to three Senior Mens Teams, Ladies Team (Valley Cats) and a thriving Junior Section, Chew Valley RFC was founded on 20th March 1969 when a meeting took place at Chew Valley School of former pupils who took the decision to form a rugby club to be known as Chew Valley Old Boys Rugby Football Club.

All three clubs will be involved in the matchday activations, with youngsters flagbearing for the team runouts and representatives taking on the Thatchers Apple Roll.
