A line that said there was an \u201copportunity to minimize the potential compliance burden\u201d was replaced by a statement that there\u2019s a \u201cneed to facilitate compliance with the AI Act.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Two leading EU lawmakers also <a href=\"https:\/\/pro.politico.eu\/news\/196963\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pushed back<\/a> on Wednesday against the Commission\u2019s earlier move to ax a proposal for a single EU liability scheme for harm caused by AI.
