“He was an instant hit with viewers, managing to connect with them effortlessly through the screen. <\/p>\n
“Although he\u2019s an established broadcaster, he\u2019s new to Good Morning Britain, and it\u2019s thought he\u2019ll help to shake up the status quo a bit.”<\/p>\n
\nA Good Morning Britain spokesperson added: “GMB features different guest presenters when the show\u2019s main presenters are on annual leave.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nViewers showered Tom – who made his Good Morning Britain debut in March when he reviewed the headlines – with praise on X.<\/p>\n
\nOne fan penned: “Loving these two. Tom and Ranvir need to be seen more. Thoroughly enjoying #gmb (sic).”<\/p>\n
\nA second supporter typed: “Really impressed with Tom Swarbrick on the show, very professional, definitely an asset to the programme.”<\/p>\n

\nHowever, Tom – who presents the weekday Drive radio show on LBC – felt nervous on his first day in the presenter’s chair on Bank Holiday Monday (25.05.26).<\/p>\n
\nRanvir introduced her sidekick and reminded viewers that they may have seen him on ITV’s This Morning discussing the day’s top stories.<\/p>\n
\nTom replied: “A lot of This Morning but the first time sitting here, so it’s an absolute thrill!”<\/p>\n
\nRanvir quipped: “Well, we normally like to give everyone a warm welcome. We’ve given you a record-breaking hot welcome today”, referencing the ongoing UK heatwave.<\/p>\n
\n“If you want to take your jacket off, if you want to take your tie off, just go for it, if you want to chill out. You’re more than welcome! How were you getting up ‘early’ early this morning?”<\/p>\n
\nTom admitted: “It’s been, you know, a sleepless, sweaty night, but it’s a great thrill and privilege to be here, so thank you very much for having me.”<\/p>\n
