Will Arbery (Succession) is adapting the novel, and Hiro Murai (Atlanta, Widow\u2019s Bay) is set to direct. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/a24-0\/\" id=\"auto-tag_a24-0_1\" data-tag=\"a24-0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">A24<\/a> and FX Productions are behind the series. It\u2019s the second FX show Arbery has in the pipeline: He\u2019s also writing and executive producing a family drama called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/elizabeth-olsen-seven-sisters-ordered-series-fx-hulu-1236452483\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Seven Sisters<\/a>, starring Elizabeth Olsen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cThe Marriage Plot is a perfect fit for FX: ambitious, character-driven storytelling that offers another great opportunity to partner with exceptional artists,\u201d said Gina Balian, president of FX Entertainment. \u201cWe look forward to building on our partnerships with Will and Hiro, both of whom are extraordinary talents who we are proud to work with again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe Marriage Plot \u201cfollows three recent college graduates caught in an all-consuming love triangle as they reconcile their youthful romantic aspirations with looming adulthood and make life-altering choices about love and identity,\u201d the show\u2019s logline reads. Eugenides\u2019 novel was published in 2011 and landed on a number of best-of lists that year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tArbery and Murai will executive produce The Marriage Plot with Steven Prinz and Rachel Jacobs for Borderless Pictures, Michael Costigan and Jason Bateman for Aggregate Films, Eugenides, Sink, and Carver Karaszewski and Claudia Shin for Chum Films. Yiyi Huang serves as producer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tSink, who played Max Mayfield in Netflix\u2019s megahit Stranger Things, will next be seen in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, due in theaters July 31. The Tony Award nominee (for John Proctor Is the Villain) currently on stage in London in a production of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/lifestyle\/arts\/sadie-sink-noah-jupe-romeo-juliet-shakespeare-london-photos-1236551502\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Romeo &amp; Juliet<\/a> with Noah Jupe.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tSink is repped by WME and Imprint. Arbery is repped by CAA, Entertainment 360 and Ziffren Brittenham.
