Plot details have not yet been disclosed for the project that began principal photography this week. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tStatham stars in the film with a role that is described as reminiscent of the one he played as a CIA field agent opposite Melissa McCarthy in 2015\u2019s Spy. The project continues Statham\u2019s relationship with Black Bear that includes Guy Ritchie\u2019s Viva La Madness, which recently wrapped production and also stars Ben Foster, Jason Isaacs and Camila Mendes. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tLeitch, known for directorial credits like The Fall Guy and the forthcoming <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/nicholas-hoult-youtubers-how-to-rob-a-bank-1236565221\/\">How to Rob a Bank<\/a>, helms Jason Statham Stole My Bike from a script by Alison Flierl (BoJack Horseman), with the story credited to Flierl and Scott Chernoff. Producers include Leitch and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/kelly-mccormick\/\" id=\"auto-tag_kelly-mccormick_1\" data-tag=\"kelly-mccormick\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kelly McCormick<\/a> for 87North, Statham for Punch Palace Productions, John Friedberg for Black Bear, and Meredith Berg and Ethan Erwin for Beryllium Entertainment. Fifth Season and Tango\u00a0are executive producing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe features hitting theaters this summer from Black Bear include the Matthew McConaughey-led The Rivals of Amziah King and the comedy Spa Weekend that stars Leslie Mann and Isla Fisher. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tStatham has such forthcoming films as Lionsgate\u2019s crime thriller Mutiny, heading to theaters in August, and Amazon MGM Studios\u2019 <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/the-beekeeper-2-footage-jason-statham-cinemacon-1236565700\/\">The Beekeeper 2<\/a>, which is dated for early 2027.
