Manchester United held an open training session on Wednesday afternoon ahead of the Europa League final next week.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are just seven days until Manchester United<\/a> return to Bilbao to face Tottenham in the 2025 Europa League final<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Before that, the Red Devils face Chelsea in the Premier League on Friday evening, looking to end a run of seven winless games in the league.<\/p>\n

Amorim will likely rotate his side for the trip to Stamford Bridge, knowing the Europa League final arrives just a few days after.<\/p>\n

The United head coach has paid attention to managing the minutes of his key players, and it seems he could get some positive injury news<\/a> ahead of the Bilbao showpiece.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, centre-back duo Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro were both missing from Wednesday\u2019s open training session at Carrington.<\/p>\n

Yoro had his head in his hands at Old Trafford<\/a> after coming off injured against West Ham, and it now seems the 19-year-old could miss out on the Europa League final.<\/p>\n

However, Diogo Dalot<\/a> was spotted at Carrington on Wednesday, sparking hope that he could return in time for the final.<\/p>\n

Sky Sports pointed out: \u201cJust before this training session, we did see Diogo Dalot come off the training pitch, just finishing off a fitness session.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s been out for a month or so with a calf injury, so you just never know \u2013 maybe he could return in some sort of capacity for the final.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amorim confirmed Dalot\u2019s injury<\/a> at the end of April and admitted the 26-year-old could miss the remainder of the season.<\/p>\n

However, the Portugal international could return early and feature in Bilbao.<\/p>\n

Diogo Dalot has been a key player under Ruben Amorim<\/p>\n

Since the arrival of Amorim as head coach in November, a handful of United stars have elevated their game to a new level.<\/p>\n

Bruno Fernandes has been superb under Amorim, and so has his Portuguese compatriot Dalot, who was signed by United for \u00a319m in 2018.<\/p>\n

Dalot has been an unsung hero for Amorim<\/a>, providing a consistent and reliable option at right wing-back.<\/p>\n

Dalot\u2019s mentality is top-class<\/a>, and his availability before his calf injury was flawless. He will be pushing hard behind the scenes to be available for the final.<\/p>\n

With Amad Diallo in great form<\/a> since his return from injury, the 22-year-old will be the favourite to start at wing-back in the final, but Dalot\u2019s return could give Amorim a few other options. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
