Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera is among a long list of centre-back targets Aston Villa<\/a> are considering this summer.<\/p>\n The 20-year-old has impressed under Carlos Corber\u00e1n<\/a> this season, as Valencia have gone from relegation candidates to contenders for European football since Christmas<\/a>.<\/p>\n Former West Bromwich Albion<\/a> boss Corber\u00e1n has also brought the best out of Enzo Barrenechea<\/a>, who is on loan at the Mestalla from Villa this season.<\/p>\n Mosquera, born in Alicante and a Valencia player since the age of 12, is nearing the end of his second full season with the first team.<\/p>\n He made 36 La Liga appearances last term, and before missing the 7-1 defeat at Barcelona this campaign, he had started 51 consecutive league matches dating back to last season.<\/p>\n Since that heavy defeat at the Nou Camp, he has started Valencia\u2019s last 14 league games, during which Los Che have lost only once.<\/p>\n Mosquera is set to enter the final 12 months of his contract this summer, meaning he could be available for a relatively modest transfer fee.<\/p>\n Reports in Spain suggest that fee could be as low as \u20ac18 million (\u00a315 million), despite the youngster’s strong performances under Corber\u00e1n and more than 87 professional appearances to his name.<\/p>\n Villarreal, Atl\u00e9tico Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain have also been credited with interest in the Spain Under-21 international.<\/p>\n Should Villa pursue Mosquera this summer?
