Starz is adding another spin-off to its ever-expanding Power universe, with a new chapter that promises to be the “biggest yet”. According to Deadline<\/a>, Power: Legacy will focus on Tariq St Patrick and Tommy Egan as they team up to conquer New York City.<\/p>\n

Following on from the events of Power Book IV: Force, the upcoming series will see Tariq approach Tommy with an offer to “take the city by storm”, according to the official logline. Together, the pair head over to Tommy’s hometown in a bid to expand their criminal empire. <\/p>\n

Joseph Sikora and Michael Rainey Jr will be reprising their roles as Tommy and Tariq, while Power Book IV: Force boss Gary Lennon<\/a> will return as showrunner. Lennon will also serve as an executive producer, alongside Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson. <\/p>\n

“Power never dies, and this chapter is our biggest yet,” Jackson teased.<\/p>\n

“Fans have been waiting to see Tariq and Tommy together, and now they’re taking over New York City. Bringing Joseph and Michael back together is special; they’ve turned these characters into true icons of the Power universe.”<\/p>\n

Lennon said: “I’m thrilled to reunite with Starz to bring this latest chapter of the Power Universe to fans and especially proud to be entrusted with continuing Tommy and Tariq’s story as showrunner on Power: Legacy.<\/p>\n

“It’s going to be electrifying to see if these two men can share the city, the game, and the intoxicating drug known as power.” <\/p>\n

Power: Legacy will be the sixth series in the franchise, which began back in 2014. The original show was followed by Power Book II: Ghost, prequel Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Power Book IV: Force and upcoming prequel Power: Origins. <\/p>\n

Origins<\/a> was announced in 2024 and is currently filming in New York, with a release date yet to be confirmed. According to the show’s logline, it is a “fun, rambunctious exploration of a new time in the Power franchise, which will highlight the unbridled audacity of young men on the rise, determined to become legends in the game”.<\/p>\n

Power Book IV: Force <\/strong>streams via <\/strong>MGM+ on Prime Video Channels<\/strong><\/a> in the UK and airs on <\/strong>Starz<\/strong><\/a> in the US.<\/strong><\/p>\n
