Police are asking for the public\u2019s help to identify a man who may have information about a car theft in Birmingham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A car was stolen in Grove Lane in Handsworth<\/a> early on Friday, April 3, which was Good Friday.<\/p>\n

A thief struck in the street, which runs from Soho Road, past Handsworth Park, to Church Lane, shortly after 6am.<\/p>\n

Now West Midlands Police<\/a> has issued a blurry image of a man its officers would like to speak to.<\/p>\n

The man appeared to be white with a beard.<\/p>\n

He was pictured wearing a cap, and a coat with the hood up.<\/p>\n

He was also wearing a darker top under the coat, light blue, stonewashed jeans and white trainers.<\/p>\n

Issuing the CCTV appeal<\/a>, West Midlands Police said: \u201cCan you tell us who this is?<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to speak to him after a car was stolen from Grove Lane, Handsworth, at around 6.15am on Friday, April 3.<\/p>\n

\u201cInvestigators appreciate that the image isn’t very clear but hope that someone will recognise the man in the image or his clothing.<\/p>\n
