A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged after two properties in Edinburgh were attacked at the weekend as part of the gangland war<\/a> raging on Scotland’s streets.<\/p>\n

The Record reported previously how thugs linked to a crime gang targeted a property on Saturday evening, May 10. Footage<\/a> showed masked thugs smashing windows of the home and forcing themselves inside.<\/p>\n

Officers executed a warrant at an address in the Gilmerton<\/a> area on the morning of Wednesday, May 14, where the 23-year-old was arrested.<\/p>\n

Police<\/a> confirmed the man had been charged in connection with damage to that property, and another in Edinburgh on Saturday.<\/p>\n

He has also been charged in connection with a reset offence after a car was stolen from the Falkirk area on 29, April, 2025. He is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court<\/a> on Thursday, May 15.<\/p>\n

Detective Superintendent Paul Grainger said: \u201cWe continue to work at pace to identify and apprehend anyone we believe is involved in incidents of violent disorder, and arrests will continue as our investigation progresses.<\/p>\n

Yobs were filmed targeted the house in Edinburgh<\/p>\n

Crime gang Tamo Junto (TMJ) have claimed credit for a string of attacks on properties linked to associates of Edinburgh crime boss Mark Richardson and Glasgow clan the Daniels.<\/p>\n

The gangland war is believed to have been started after cocaine was stolen from a Dubai- based Mr Big.<\/p>\n

An underworld source revealed that gangland figure Steven \u2018Bonzo\u2019 Daniel<\/a> reached out to Mr Big on Saturday to try to negotiate a peace deal but his offer was laughed off.<\/p>\n

Mr Big \u2013 who we can\u2019t reveal for legal reasons \u2013 has waged a relentless war on the Daniel clan<\/a> and Richardson\u2019s mob for over two months.<\/p>\n

The feud started in Edinburgh in March with a number of firebombings at properties linked to Richardson, but moved to Glasgow last month with the Daniel clan being targeted.<\/p>\n

Police Scotland<\/a> have vowed to crack down on the gang wars.
