The latest Omaze Million Pound House Draw winner has been revealed and a lucky gran has revealed not only what she will do with the property but how she reacted to the news<\/p>\n

Pop champagne, go for a posh dinner or even throw small party \u2013 they’re just some ways Brits may celebrate getting the keys to a new house.<\/a> For one 81-year-old, however, getting a taste of the her new surroundings from the comfort of her own home, felt more fitting.<\/p>\n

Grandmother Patricia Moule is now the proud owner of a \u00a34million mansion<\/a> on the shores of Loch Rannoch in Perthshire, Scottish Highlands. So what did she do in reaction to the news? Watch Braveheart… obviously.<\/p>\n

Following her jaw-dropping Omaze Million Pound House Draw win<\/a>, Patricia from Southampton has revealed whether she’ll pack up her bags and move to the other side of the UK, keep it as a holiday home or do as is so often the case, sell up and cash in.<\/p>\n

Widow Patricia from Southampton once shed five stone so she could give her husband of over 55 years David one of her kidneys for a lifesaving operation. The operation was a success, but sadly David passed away from prostate cancer in 2019. Patricia says her late husband will be “smiling down on the family” after she scooped the house along with \u00a3250,000 in cash \u2013 for just \u00a325.<\/p>\n

Her house has views of the the Black Woods of Rannoch and the Southern Rannoch mountains \u2013 and has its very own all-weather tennis court. The house comes mortgage-free, with all stamp duty and legal fees covered. Patricia also gets a whopping \u00a3250,000 in cash to help her settle in and can decide to either live in the house, rent it out for a supplementary income, or sell it whenever she wishes to become a cash multi-millionaire.<\/p>\n

Omaze estimates that if she decides to keep the property, the \u00a3250,000 would enable her to run the house for more than five years. The house also comes with \u00a3160,000 worth of furnishings, ready for Patricia and her family to enjoy the day they get the keys.<\/p>\n

If she decided to rent it out, local estate agents estimate that the property could achieve a long-term rental value of between \u00a38,000 \u2013 \u00a310,000 per month.<\/p>\n

Patricia, who bought her \u00a34 million winning entry for just \u00a325 as part of her Omaze subscription, has a daughter, Sarah, 57, and granddaughter Louisa, 18. Former Personal Manager Patricia said that David would “absolutely love this place and would know what a difference winning it will make”.<\/p>\n

Patricia said: “It was just another Friday night really, I was just getting ready to settle down with a cup of coffee and watch a bit of tele. Then all of a sudden, I get a call and the Omaze team turns up to tell me I’ve won a \u00a34 million house in the Scottish Highlands, I was absolutely overwhelmed!<\/p>\n

“I made myself a nice gin & tonic to celebrate, but a stiff scotch would’ve probably been more appropriate! Things like this just don’t happen to people like me, I never win anything, the best thing I’ve ever won before this was a doll when I was nine years old-this definitely tops that and was worth waiting 70 years for. It’s breathtaking up here, it’s like something from a film, come to think of it I must watch Braveheart now I own a home in Scotland!<\/p>\n

“The house is enormous, it might take me a week to look around the place, I think I’ll need a map! I can’t believe I’ve got a loch at the end of my garden, it’s just incredible. The scenery is spectacular, I’ve never seen anything so beautiful in all my life. I’ve been to Scotland before, as my late husband David was a golf fanatic, so we came up to play here.<\/p>\n

“I know he’ll be smiling down on us now, he’d have absolutely loved this place and everything that it will do for us. I gave him a kidney back in 2012, it meant I got to spend seven more years with my best friend. I wish he was still here to share this with me, but I know he’d be beyond happy for all of us. Thanks to the \u00a3250,000 I also got as part of my win, I could afford to stay here for years if I wanted to, but I will sell it as the huge amount of money from the sale is so transformational for the family, it’s a generational legacy that means their future is now secure.<\/p>\n

“We’ll definitely come up for a big family holiday before we sell it though, and one of us may take a dip in the loch! My granddaughter loves painting and you can’t get much more picturesque than this place, she’ll be getting her easel up here in no time.”<\/p>\n

Patricia, originally from East London, has lived in her current three-bedroom house in Southampton for 17 years.<\/p>\n

As well as making Patricia a multimillionaire, the Omaze Million Pound House Draw, Scotland, raised \u00a33.9 million for Alzheimer’s Research UK.<\/p>\n
