Manchester City are reportedly eyeing up a move for Tottenham Hotspur\u2019s Destiny Udogie this summer, with Pep Guardiola keen to refresh his full-back options.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s shaping up to be a busy summer window for Tottenham Hotspur<\/a>, with both incomings and outgoings on the cards.<\/p>\n

And to be fair, after another inconsistent season, that\u2019s exactly what most fans would expect. If Spurs are serious about pushing back into the top four and mixing it with the very best, the Tottenham squad<\/a> needs freshening up in several areas.<\/p>\n

That said, they\u2019re not the only ones in the market for reinforcements. Manchester City, too, are looking to strengthen, particularly after their own dip in form this campaign.<\/p>\n

According to recent reports from Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have placed Destiny Udogie<\/a> on their shortlist as they look to bolster their full-back options ahead of the summer.<\/p>\n

Udogie is said to be highly rated within the City camp. At just 22, he\u2019s already proven himself in the Premier League<\/a> with Spurs, showing he can operate on either flank, and offering the kind of physicality and presence Pep Guardiola tends to value.<\/p>\n

Hugo Viana, City\u2019s new director of football, is reportedly a long-time admirer of Udogie\u2014tracking him since his Udinese days, before Tottenham swooped in under Fabio Paratici\u2019s watch.<\/p>\n

With Kyle Walker now well into his thirties, and expected to move on this summer, it\u2019s no surprise City are on the lookout for a replacement\u2014and Udogie has quickly emerged as one of their top options.<\/p>\n

Udogie to Manchester City? Spurs, Levy, and the summer window<\/p>\n

Of course, any attempt to sign Destiny Udogie won\u2019t be without its challenges\u2014chief among them, dealing with Daniel Levy<\/a>. <\/p>\n

But then again, City did manage to get Kyle Walker out of north London back in 2018, so it\u2019s not impossible.<\/p>\n

Udogie\u2019s had a decent campaign in north London this season, despite battling injury. He\u2019s made 23 Premier League appearances, registering one assist during that run.<\/p>\n

Tottenham are reported to rate Udogie incredibly highly. In Italy, he\u2019s been described as \u2018untouchable\u2019. <\/p>\n

Within the Spurs camp, he\u2019s seen as a vital part of the club\u2019s future\u2014one of the key young players Ange Postecoglou<\/a> is expected to build around.<\/p>\n

City do have other options. Andrea Cambiaso of Juventus was a priority target in January, though Juve were reluctant to sell at the time. <\/p>\n

That could change in the summer, with Cambiaso now considered a more realistic option as well. Still, Udogie remains firmly on their radar.<\/p>\n
