The quartet dined at the Sussexes\u2019 mansion in Montecito, California, just days after Brooklyn skipped all of his dad David\u2019s 50th birthday celebrations.<\/p>\n

A source familiar with the event said: \u201cHarry and Meghan were very empathetic and very kind to them both.<\/p>\n

The Duchess of Sussex and Nicola Found \u201ccommon ground\u201d after both were accused of wrecking their husbands\u2019 families, sources told The Sun.<\/p>\n

Harry offered his \u201cunwavering support\u201d to Brooklyn at the private get-together amid their ongoing \u201ctoxic\u201d family feuds.<\/a><\/p>\n

Influencer Brooklyn, 26, and his US actress wife Nicola<\/a>, 30, are said to have \u201cgratefully received\u201d an invitation to dinner at the Sussexes\u2019 \u00a311million mansion in Montecito, California<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It came just days after David Beckham\u2019s 50th birthday celebrations,<\/a> which were skipped by his son and daughter-in-law.<\/a><\/p>\n

While the dinner had been arranged before the acrimonious fall-out between the Beckham<\/a> clan, the quartet were said to have \u201cfound a lot of common ground\u201d.<\/p>\n

Last night, a source familiar with the intimate event said: \u201cThis was an unexpected invite, but one gratefully received by Brooklyn and Nicola, who both feel pretty battle-wounded.<\/p>\n

\u201cHarry and Meghan<\/a> were very empathetic and very kind to them both.<\/p>\n

\u201cMeghan had a lot of sympathy for her, and said there was shared common ground. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey didn\u2019t meet in relation to recent developments and headlines, but it was an honest but very welcome coincidence.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is understood the quartet swapped mobile numbers, but it is not known whether they have stayed in touch.<\/p>\n

Brooklyn was only 13 when he last met Harry.<\/p>\n

He was having dinner with his dad at The Sun\u2019s Millies awards in 2011 when the young prince came over to say hello.<\/p>\n

David and wife Victoria<\/a>, 51, also attended Harry and Meghan\u2019s 2018 wedding.<\/p>\n

Not long after, they gave them full use of their Beverly Hills home so they could \u201chide out\u201d.<\/p>\n

However, the four fell out when ex-Suits actress Meghan, 43, accused Victoria of leaking stories about her.<\/a><\/p>\n

Harry was fully aware of the situation and offered Brooklyn his unwavering support as someone who has been through similar<\/p>\n

A source told The Sun at the time: \u201cInexplicably, she feared Victoria was behind [the leak] \u2014 I mean, the idea that Victoria Beckham would be personally ringing journalists to give them a scoop is ridiculous \u2014 and spoke to Harry about it.<\/p>\n

\u201cHarry is very protective of Meghan, and decided to deal with the matter head-on, by directly contacting his good pal, David.<\/p>\n

\u201cHarry was very polite, but obviously it was a pretty awkward exchange and David was mortified.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harry also reportedly snubbed David \u2014 at Meghan\u2019s behest \u2014 at the 2018 Invictus Games.<\/p>\n

Last week\u2019s catered Montecito soir\u00e9e was a pre-arranged event, with Nicola invited through another VIP in attendance, one close to both Meghan and Harry.<\/p>\n

Around 18 other guests were in there, including Paramount CEO Brian Robbins and his wife Tracy. <\/p>\n

They live down the road and have become good pals of Harry and Meghan, who quit as working royals<\/a> in 2020 to live in the US.<\/p>\n

In January last year, Harry and Meghan were flown by Robbins in his private jet to Jamaica<\/a> to appear on the red carpet at the premiere of Bob Marley: One Love.<\/p>\n

Last September, Robbins and his wife were at a joint birthday party for Tyler Perry and Harry at the actor\u2019s Montecito home.<\/p>\n

Tracy was also sent some of Meghan\u2019s As Ever jam.<\/p>\n

Harry, now 40, was famously pictured alongside Brooklyn\u2019s mum in her pop star days, meeting the Spice Girls<\/a> in South Africa during his first-ever royal engagement.<\/p>\n

In his book, Spare, he claimed the memorable meet and greet \u2014 alongside Nelson Mandela<\/a> \u2014 was arranged by the royals\u2019 PR machine to bolster the popularity of his father, the then-Prince Charles<\/a>.<\/p>\n

News of the quartet\u2019s unlikely meet-up in Montecito \u2014 dubbed \u201cBeckxit\u201d after the Sussexes\u2019 \u201cMegxit<\/a>\u201d \u2014 comes amid a flurry of stories about the Beckhams\u2019 feud.<\/p>\n

Just as commentators have blamed US actress-turned-influencer Meghan for taking Harry away from his family, so friends of the Beckhams are pointing the finger at Nicola.<\/p>\n

They claim the Transformers star has been a \u201cnightmare\u201d and driven a wedge between the family<\/a> \u2014 accusations her side fiercely deny.<\/p>\n

Sources claim Kate\u2019s decision to wear it to the British Fashion Council awards event was an act of \u201csartorial solidarity\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Beckhams are distraught by the fall-out and insist the door is always open to their son – he can get in touch whenever he wants, and they hope he does<\/p>\n

\u201cHe will always stay loyal to his wife, no matter what, and for her part it\u2019s fair to say Nicola is very headstrong \u2014 she has clashed with Victoria on numerous occasions. <\/p>\n
