Influencer and aspiring chef Brooklyn Beckham<\/a> says he hasn\u2019t worked in five years.<\/p>\n As son to Sir David and Victoria Beckham<\/a>, who have accrued a vast fortune between them after their successes in the music industry (for now-fashion designer, Victoria) and the sporting realm (for football icon David), with the couple\u2019s personal wealth now estimated to be around \u00a31.185billion<\/a>, it\u2019s perhaps not necessary.<\/p>\n He tied the knot with actress wife Nicola Peltz<\/a> Beckham, 31, in 2022; she is the daughter or American businessman and investor Nelson Peltz, who is thought to personally be worth around $1.5bn (\u00a31.12bn).<\/p>\n But Brooklyn, whose individual net worth is thought be around $10m ($7.48m), has tried various other careers over the years \u2013 including photographer and model.<\/p>\n However, he is now deeply committed to his hot sauce brand.<\/p>\n The 27-year-old launched Cloud23 in 2024 and said during an event this week that he \u2018hasn\u2019t worked in five years\u2019 due to his passion for the brand.<\/p>\n \t\t \u2018Four years ago I was trying to work out what I wanted to do with my life, what I wanted to do for work.<\/p>\n \u2018Basically my wife and I got really drunk in our apartment while making hot sauce.<\/p>\n \u2018I watched a short little video on how to make it and the next day I tried it again. I really wanted to see what I could create,\u2019 he told the audience at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York on Monday, per The Daily Mail<\/a>.<\/p>\n A high-end organic sauce brand, which launched exclusively at Whole Foods in the US and is now available at Erewhon, Amazon and Planet Organic, its two different flavours \u2013 hot habanero and sweet jalape\u00f1o \u2013 retail for \u00a315 each<\/a>.<\/p>\n He also revealed: \u2018I\u2019m always calling the CEO on Sunday at 10pm with a crazy idea of what direction we might go in or a condiment idea. I\u2019ll call with a ridiculous idea.<\/p>\n \u2018I can come across as annoying sometimes.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t Brooklyn was speaking as part of the From Passion to Product: Building a Culinary Brand That Lasts panel on the Tribeca X main stage, alongside Cloud23 CEO Jeff Day.<\/p>\n He\u2019s previously caught heat from fans for some of his enthusiastic culinary videos on social media<\/a>, including when he made almond milk with \u2018enough vanilla extract to kill a man\u2019<\/a> and left fans divided with his \u2018raw\u2019 beef<\/a> as part of a a \u2018Michelin-style\u2019 Sunday roast.<\/p>\n His past Cookin\u2019 With Brooklyn\u00a0series also raised eyebrows in 2022 when it was reported that an eight-minute episode in which he was\u00a0filmed making a bagel sandwich<\/a>\u00a0with coleslaw, a hash brown and fried sea bream had a crew of 62 people and cost $100,000 (\u00a374.8k) to produce<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n Brooklyn has been in the headlines this year<\/a> mostly for the feud between him and his parents, which he finally confirmed in an explosive statement on Instagram in January after he and Nicola were\u00a0noticeably absent from milestone family events<\/a>, including celebrations for David\u2019s 50th\u00a0birthday and his knighthood ceremony.\u00a0<\/p>\n \t\t None of the Beckhams were invited to Brooklyn and Nicola\u2019s vow renewal ceremony last summer either.<\/p>\n He accused his parents of \u2018controlling\u2019 him and always putting \u2018Brand Beckham\u2019 first while declaring that he now was \u2018standing up\u2019 for himself and did \u2018not want to reconcile\u2019 with them.<\/p>\n He also accused his family of having tried \u2018endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding\u2019, before memorably claiming his mum was \u2018dancing inappropriately\u2019 on him during what was meant to be the first dance with his new wife.<\/p>\n While David and Victoria have largely stayed tight-lipped<\/a> over the fallout, the 52-year-old former Spice Girl made a veiled allusion to the\u00a0parenting\u00a0of Brooklyn<\/a> and his siblings, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14, when discussing the family\u2019s commercial empire on Emma Grede\u2019s\u00a0podcast Aspire in May.<\/p>\n \u2018When David and I first met, it was never our intention to start a brand.
