At a time of maximum geopolitical uncertainty<\/strong>, the national leaders of the Next Generation Weapon System (NGWS) have signed a joint declaration of commitment and technological sovereignty<\/strong>. The goal: to shield Spain’s and Europe’s position in view of the imminent reconfiguration of the FCAS<\/a><\/strong> (Future Combat Air System<\/strong>) program.<\/p>\n

    This movement is not isolated. Simultaneously, eight of Germany’s leading<\/strong> defense companies have launched a mirror initiative<\/strong>. Both industrial powers align to ensure that the development of this system<\/strong> of sixth-generation<\/strong> weapons proceeds in a coordinated, efficient<\/strong> manner and without delays.<\/p>\n

    The top representatives from Airbus Defence and Space<\/a><\/strong>, GMV<\/a><\/strong>, Grupo Oes\u00eda<\/a><\/strong>, Indra Group<\/a><\/strong>, ITP Aero<\/strong>, and Sener<\/a><\/strong> have met at the headquarters of TEDAE<\/a><\/strong> to set a common stance. The Spanish industry urges progress<\/strong> on political and operational decisions regarding the continuity and evolution of the NGWS.<\/p>\n
