Paua\u00a0has integrated Fleete\u2019s new electric HGV charging hub at the Port of Tilbury into its network, giving fleet operators immediate access to one of the UK\u2019s most advanced truck charging sites.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Tilbury site is built specifically for HGVs and sits at a key\u00a0logistics\u00a0gateway serving London and the\u00a0South East.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Site specification\u00a0includes\u00a016 dedicated HGV charging bays\u00a0with up to 360kW charging speeds, as well as a\u00a05MW grid connection.\u00a0There is also\u00a024\/7 access for fleets.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Unlike traditional public EV charging sites designed\u00a0mainly\u00a0for\u00a0cars, the Tilbury hub has been developed specifically around the operational needs of commercial vehicles, including larger bays, high-power\u00a0charging\u00a0and freight-focused access.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Truck and van\u202fdrivers using\u00a0Paua\u00a0can turn up, charge, and pay using a single solution, without\u00a0the need to use\u00a0separate accounts or cards.\u00a0<\/p>\n
With electric HGV numbers rising, access to reliable, high-power sites is seen as critical for operators looking to electrify routes without risking downtime.\u00a0<\/p>\n
As more electric trucks enter operation over the coming years, industry collaboration between charging operators, software platforms and fleets is expected to play a critical role in accelerating adoption.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Hams Hall Distribution Park\u202fand\u00a0Fleete\u2019s\u00a0nine other development sites\u202fwill also become available to\u00a0Paua\u00a0customers once\u202fthese sites become operational.\u00a0<\/p>\n
