He was spotted on an Edinburgh bus<\/p>\n

A missing<\/a> Welsh man was reportedly spotted on an Edinburgh bus as police continue a major search. Ross Chappel, 42, has been reported missing from Abercynon on May 25.<\/p>\n

He has links in the Cynon, Taff and Bridgend areas of Wales. Police Scotland Edinburgh have said there was a sighting of him on the number 28 Flix Bus on June 6.<\/p>\n

He may have gotten off the bus at Ingliston.<\/p>\n

A statement from South Wales Police reads: “Ross was last seen in the early hours of Monday May 25, at Martins Close, Abercynon.<\/p>\n

“He has links in the Cynon, Taff and Bridgend areas. He was dressed all in black with cargo trousers and a black back pack.<\/p>\n

“He has shoulder length black hair and normally wears a black balaclava.”<\/p>\n

Police Scotland Edinburgh said: “There was a sighting of Ross on the number 82 Flix bus for Edinburgh on Saturday, 6 June, 2026, at around 11.20am.
