A car overturned and people were taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Bristol last week.<\/p>\n
On Friday, May 9, a collision on Anton Bantock Way, in Bishopsworth<\/a>, just after 7pm had left a car on its side.<\/p>\n Photos taken at the scene show emergency services surrounding the vehicle.<\/p>\n Avon and Somerset Police<\/a> said that the police force as well as the ambulance service attended the incident.<\/p>\n The road was closed at its junction with Queen’s Road.<\/p>\n There were no serious injuries reported but two people were taken to the Bristol Royal Infirmary.<\/p>\n The ambulance service said two double-crewed land ambulances, a first responder and the hazardous area response team were sent to the scene.<\/p>\n Avon and Somerset Police said: \u201cAt 7.08pm on Friday, May 9, we received a report of a two-vehicle collision, in which one vehicle had overturned, on Anton Bantock Way.<\/p>\n \u201cOfficers attended alongside the ambulance service and closed the road at its junction with Queen’s Road to allow emergency services to respond and the vehicles to be recovered.<\/p>\n \u201cNo serious injuries were reported, and the road was reopened by 10pm.\u201d<\/p>\n A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service<\/a> NHS<\/a> Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: \u201cWe were called at 7.13pm on Friday, May 9, to a road traffic collision In Bristol.<\/p>\n “We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, a first responder and the hazardous area response team to the scene.<\/p>\n “We conveyed two patients by land ambulances to Bristol Royal Infirmary\u201d.<\/p>\n Want the latest Bristol breaking news and top stories first?
