Huge disruption to rail services to and from Birmingham on one main route is set to affect passengers this weekend.<\/p>\n

Engineering works are taking place, between Rugby and Birmingham<\/a> International stations, in the Coventry<\/a> area on Sunday (June 14).<\/p>\n

With services with four rail companies, Avanti West Coast, Cross Country, London Northwestern Railway and West Midlands Railway set to be hit.<\/p>\n

Some services will be cancelled, some will be diverted, while others will see passengers needing to take rail replacement buses for part of their journeys.<\/p>\n

West Midlands Railway said: \u201cEssential engineering works are taking place in the Coventry area this Sunday 14 June.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo services will operate between Leamington Spa and Nuneaton, and between B’ham Intl and Rugby. Road transport will be in operation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Avanti West Coast services to and from London Euston will be hit.<\/p>\n

As will CrossCountry trains between Bournemouth, Reading and Manchester Piccadilly.<\/p>\n

London Northwestern services from London Euston, Northampton and Birmingham New Street<\/a> will be disrupted.<\/p>\n

And West Midlands Railway trains between Leamington Spa and Nuneaton will not operate.<\/p>\n

With Avanti West Coast Avanti West Coast. National Rail said: \u201cTrains between London Euston and Birmingham New Street\/Wolverhampton will not run.<\/p>\n

\u201cWatford Junction and Rugby stations will be served by trains running between London Euston and Liverpool Lime Street\/Manchester Piccadilly instead.<\/p>\n

\u201cTrains between London Euston to Crewe\/Preston\/Scotland via Birmingham New Street will start and terminate at Birmingham International.<\/p>\n

\u201cRail replacement buses will operate between Rugby and Birmingham International, calling at Coventry.\u201d<\/p>\n

CrossCountry trains will be diverted, and will not call at Coventry or Birmingham International.<\/p>\n

While replacement buses will run between Leamington Spa and Birmingham International via Coventry.<\/p>\n

For London Northwestern Railway services, National Rail said: \u201cTrain services between London Euston\/Northampton and Birmingham New Street will run between London Euston\/Northampton and Rugby.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd also between Birmingham International and Birmingham New Street only.<\/p>\n

\u201cTrains between Coventry and Birmingham New Street will run between Birmingham International and Birmingham New Street only.<\/p>\n

\u201cRail replacement buses will operate between Rugby\/Coventry and Birmingham International.\u201d<\/p>\n
