(WKYT) &#8211; Laurel County deputies are investigating a drowning that happened Saturday afternoon, about 11 miles west of London.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The sheriff\u2019s office got a call to conduct a welfare check regarding a body discovered floating face down in the river.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Authorities have identified the victim as 56-year-old Terry Vickers from London.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Investigators believe the cause of death was drowning.
