Bomb disposal specialists detonated unexploded ordnance on a Welsh beach on Saturday afternoon. Rest Bay in Porthcawl<\/a> was cordoned off to the public as the dramatic incident played out.<\/p>\n It is understood a number of devices were found in the garden of a nearby property before being removed and taken to the beach to be destroyed by experts.<\/p>\n The detonation took place at around midday, as members of the public watched on from afar as the scenes unfolded.
