Rising England<\/a> star Nico O’Reilly has his life mapped out in tattoos seen at the team’s first training session in Kansas. On his right shoulder, he has body art bearing the message: “The World is Yours,” which could be a good sign for his first ever World Cup<\/a>. Just below is the message: “Everything is possible for those who believe.”<\/p>\n

His right arm also carries the inked advice “Stay Humble” while his left shoulder has the two finger peace sign. A signpost marks the way to ‘Dreams’ on one side and ‘Reality’ on the other.<\/p>\n

The young midfielder, who is likely to play left back for England, was enjoying his first training session in Kansas City just two hours before a Tornado struck in the area.<\/p>\n

The tattoo, No. 1, is underneath with the words ‘No Ball Games’, a common sight in Manchester<\/a> where Nico, 21, plays for City. He also has a tattoo of the Manchester dialling code 0161.<\/p>\n

Asked about his first impressions of the team’s base in Kansas, he said: “Togetherness. It is a really great group and we have bonded. I think you will see that on the pitch.” Teammate Dan Burn, 34, at his first World Cup, said he was making the most of every minute.<\/p>\n

“Brotherhood, the manager has spoken a lot about that,” he said. “It is a big thing.<\/p>\n

“First and foremost, we have top-quality players and one of the best forwards in the World in Harry Kane<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I feel like this is the type of tournament where players who are normally stars for their clubs are going to have to take a slightly different role. \u201cThat’s leaning into that brotherhood thing again, where we are just happy for each other and happy to help out as much as we can.\u201d<\/p>\n

She said they had been “thrilled” to welcome England.<\/p>\n

She added: “The fact that Kansas City was selected as a base camp destination for England, Argentina<\/a>, the Netherlands<\/a> and Algeria<\/a> speaks to the strength of our soccer culture and decades of investment in the game.<\/p>\n

“This summer is about more than matches.<\/p>\n
