Campbell Hatton has signed with Misfits Boxing and will make a huge comeback to boxing.<\/p>\n

The son of late boxing legend and British icon Ricky announced his retirement<\/a> from the sport in 2025 at the age of 24.<\/p>\n

He wanted to pursue a career elsewhere, with his father confirming the news.<\/p>\n

Sadly his iconic dad passed away in September last year<\/a> in tragic circumstances.<\/p>\n

In honour of his father, the younger Hatton announced he would return in an exhibition card alongside Kell Brook<\/a>, with the proceeds going to the Ricky Hatton foundation.<\/p>\n

But now ‘The Hurricane’ has astonishingly announced a full return, which will come under influencer promotion Misfits Boxing.<\/p>\n

The news was announced as he stepped in the ring just moments before the clash between Tommy Fury and Eddie Hall<\/a> in his home city.<\/p>\n

He said after his shock new move was announced: \u201cIt\u2019s all about doing [Ricky] proud. <\/p>\n

Buzzing. Can\u2019t wait to get things going again.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is an emotional return for Campbell, who will of course do his father proud as he always did.<\/p>\n

He will be hoping to reverse his form after back-to-back losses against James Flint before he initially retired.<\/p>\n

Astonishingly, it could be big-name opposition immediately for the 25-year-old.<\/p>\n

In the ring, it was suggested that the son of Prince Naseem Hamed, Sami, could well be his first opponent.<\/p>\n

The younger Hamed has made his debut for Misfits Boxing already, beating Zachary Johnson in 2025.<\/p>\n

It was his second appearance in the ring after he fought professionally against Jesse Clarke in Dublin, and has a record of 2-0.<\/p>\n

On the potential clash, he added: “I\u2019d love it straight away.<\/p>\n
