Small bags are classed as no larger than 35cm x 40cm x 19cm or standard handbags. There are no bag storage facilities available at the stadium.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Large bags are not permitted.<\/p>\n<p>Banned items<\/p>\n<ul class=\"UnorderedList_unordered-list__gzblI\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"unordered-list\">\n<li class=\"LiItem_li-item__IF4xI\">Food &amp; drink (other than exceptional circumstances).<\/li>\n<li class=\"LiItem_li-item__IF4xI\">Fireworks, flares, pyrotechnics, all horns including air horns, musical instruments, smoke canisters, laser pointers, bottles, glasses, cans, cooking devices, banners, poles, large golf-type umbrellas, selfie sticks, knives, blades and other articles or containers \u2013 including any which could or might be used as a weapon \u2013 or any other item which in the reasonable opinion of the WRU Group, its servants or agents, could be used as a weapon or cause nuisance to others, are prohibited within the Stadium.<\/li>\n<li class=\"LiItem_li-item__IF4xI\">All promotional, commercial, political and religious printed matter, including but not limited to leaflets, banners, flags, signs, symbols are banned, too.<\/li>\n<li class=\"LiItem_li-item__IF4xI\">Animals (other than service or guide dogs)<\/li>\n<li class=\"LiItem_li-item__IF4xI\">Equipment which is capable of recording or transmitting (by digital or other means) any audio, visual or audio-visual material or any information or data in relation to an event<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Road closures<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">From 7am, Scott Road and Park Street will be closed because of the need to prepare Gate 5 and protect queuing fans.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">For all the concerts, the following roads will be closed as part of the full city centre road closure which will take place at 3pm until midnight.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"UnorderedList_unordered-list__gzblI\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"unordered-list\">\n<li class=\"LiItem_li-item__IF4xI\">Kingsway from its junction with North Road to its junction with Duke Street.<\/li>\n<li class=\"LiItem_li-item__IF4xI\">Cowbridge Road East from its junction with Cathedral Road to its junction with Westgate Street.<\/li>\n<li class=\"LiItem_li-item__IF4xI\">Tudor Street from its junction with Clare Road to its junction with Wood Street (access for residents and traders will be permitted via Fitzhammon Embankment).<\/li>\n<li class=\"LiItem_li-item__IF4xI\">Plantagenet Street and Beauchamp Street from their junctions with Despenser Place to their junctions with Tudor Street (access for residents and traders will be permitted).<\/li>\n<li class=\"LiItem_li-item__IF4xI\">The following roads will be closed in their entirety: Duke Street, Castle St, High Street, St Mary Street, Caroline Street, Wood Street, Central Square, Westgate Street, Quay Street, Guildhall Place, Golate, Park Street, Havelock Street and Scott Road.<\/li>\n<li class=\"LiItem_li-item__IF4xI\">Station Terrace and Guildford Street from the junction with Newport Road to the junction with Churchill Way will be access for buses only during the times of the road closures. This is to ensure that there is reliable access for buses to the satellite points in Churchill Way.<\/li>\n<li class=\"LiItem_li-item__IF4xI\">Additionally, Penarth Road will be closed 30 minutes before the concerts finish and for up to an hour after they finish, on safety grounds &#8211; for train passengers arriving and departing from the train station.<\/li>\n<li class=\"LiItem_li-item__IF4xI\">Station Terrace will also close for a short period to allow Queen Street Station to operate safely for 1hour 30mins after the end of the event (approx. 10.15pm \u2013 11.45pm)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Additions: <\/strong>Civic Centre: Access to part of the Civic Centre will be controlled throughout the day, with access allowed only for event parking, limited commuter parking, loading and access to private car parks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Roads affected include King Edward VII Avenue, Museum Avenue, City Hall Road, College Road and Gorsedd Gardens Road.<\/p>\n<p><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Trains<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Great Western Railway (GWR)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">GWR will run additional services to help customers get home after the summer concerts. Extra trains will operate from <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.walesonline.co.uk\/all-about\/cardiff\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"\">Cardiff<\/a> Central to <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.walesonline.co.uk\/all-about\/swansea\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"\">Swansea<\/a>, <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.walesonline.co.uk\/all-about\/newport\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"\">Newport<\/a>, Bristol and Swindon, with plenty of parking available at station car parks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Trains are, however, expected to be very busy immediately after the concerts and a queueing system will be in place outside the station to help people board trains safely.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Those travelling from further afield should check connecting services, and the time of their last train home, at <a aria-label=\"www.gwr.com\/checkLink opens in a new tab.\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/7zlh9hby.r.eu-west-1.awstrack.me\/L0\/https:%2F%2Fct.prmax.co.uk%2Ftrack%2F36686340%2Fclick%2Ffb51c38a-5f26-11f1-b538-0242ac110005\/1\/0102019e8c9f25cb-41cc9886-7c72-4f97-9bb5-416f2d6d3f03-000000\/xjlIWKnMnSt8S-Y3GilBLIYcBCQ=473\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\">www.gwr.com\/check<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Transport for Wales (TfW)<\/strong> will provide additional capacity where possible on routes to and from Cardiff for the Take That and Metallica concerts. Passengers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow plenty of time for their journey.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">A full queuing system will be in place with passengers travelling to the Valleys or the Vale of Glamorgan directed to Cardiff Queen Street station after the event. All other queues including <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.walesonline.co.uk\/all-about\/ebbw-vale\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"\">Ebbw Vale<\/a> and <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.walesonline.co.uk\/all-about\/maesteg\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"\">Maesteg<\/a> will be at Cardiff Central station.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Queuing will start from 9.45pm at both stations with the accessibility queue available at Cardiff Central.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Cardiff Bus Interchange will close in line with road closures and car park closures will also be in place at Cardiff Central station. Research shows us that 52% of car trips made in the Welsh capital are less than 5km.
