An investigation is underway after a woman was found dead in the back of her car on Sunday (June 14). Police were called to the scene outside the Dairyground shops, on Dairyground Road in Bramhall.<\/p>\n

Witnesses told the Manchester Evening News that a blue forensic tent was erected at the scene with a cordon also put in place. Officers remained in attendance throughout the evening following the horror discovery.<\/p>\n

Ambulances were also in attendance as detectives worked at the scene close to the parade of shops at the junction with Plymouth Drive.<\/p>\n

It’s understood that officers had been called to concerns for a woman in the back of a vehicle. It was later confirmed she was deceased.<\/p>\n

An investigation into the circumstances is currently ongoing, it was confirmed.. The death is not being treated as suspicious.<\/p>\n
