Sources close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex say they recently hosted Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, for dinner at their Montecito mansion in California.<\/p>\n

The Sussexes are said to feel “empathetic” towards the young couple’s situation.<\/p>\n

During the dinner, Meghan reportedly had a “deep and meaningful” conversation with Nicola, with the Duchess expressing “a lot of sympathy for her”.<\/p>\n

The source said: “Obviously, both women have been positioned in the media as homewreckers – the women to tear apart their husbands’ families.<\/p>\n

“Meghan had a lot of sympathy for her and said there was shared common ground”.<\/p>\n

The insider added: “Harry was fully aware of the situation and offered Brooklyn his unwavering support as someone who has been through similar”.<\/p>\n

David and Victoria Beckham attended Harry and Meghan’s wedding in 2018.<\/p>\n

However, the relationship between the Beckhams and the Sussexes reportedly soured when Harry and Meghan suspected the couple of leaking stories about the Duchess of Sussex to the press.<\/p>\n
