For the record, Re-Unon Canal Boats are part of the Fountainbridge Canalside Community Trust, a social enterprise. All profits go towards supporting local community activities and the aims of the organisation which are to make the local area a better place to live, work, do business and visit.<\/p>\n
Indeed, Saturday (June 20) sees the 2026 Edinburgh Canal Festival, a free, family-friendly event celebrating the Union Canal and the canalside community.<\/p>\n
