<\/p>\n Senior leadership insight will also take centre stage, with Stonegate Group<\/b> chief executive David McDowall<\/b> outlining how the UK\u2019s largest pub company is evolving its business model and operations to respond to ongoing sector challenges. <\/p>\n The agenda will then turn to a broader \u201cState of the Nation\u201d panel, where Buzzworks<\/b> co-founder\/CEO Kenny Blair<\/b> and Amber Taverns <\/b>property director Sam Frankland<\/b> will assess current market conditions, balancing the challenges facing hospitality with opportunities for growth. <\/p>\n Policy and advocacy are also on the programme, with UKHospitality<\/b> chief executive Allen Simpson<\/b> set to discuss the Government\u2019s industrial strategy and what it means for the pub sector, alongside the wider role hospitality plays in the UK economy. <\/p>\n Elsehwere, Zonal<\/b> will highlight how to unlock the secrets to accommodation, looking at the growing opportunity for pubs with rooms as the staycation market continues to expand. <\/p>\n Vibrant hospitality scene <\/p>\n Annica Wainwright<\/b>, co-founder of 2Forks<\/b>, will also share insight on how to maximise menus to meet inflationary challenges.<\/p>\n Attendees will then hear how pubs can support schemes like Ask for Angela<\/b> from the initiative\u2019s CEO Sylvia Oates<\/b>, as well as the role venues play in tackling loneliness through community-led campaigns like Empty Chairs<\/b>, with founder Dean Perryman <\/b>sharing how pubs are crucial to the campaign.<\/p>\n After the conference, the Club will then take to the streets of Glasgow for the study tour to uncover what the city\u2019s hospitality scene has to offer.<\/p>\n Guests will visit a host of venues, including Glasgow\u2019s oldest bar and restaurant, Sloans<\/b>, which combines historic character with a lively social atomsphere across multiple floors.<\/p>\n The tour will also stop by the Spiritualist<\/b> – a city-centre cocktail bar and restaurant popular for its after-work drinks, social dining and private events.<\/p>\n Expert sessions <\/p>\n Furthermore, pairing cosy interiors with a sophisticated social vibe, the Club will also take a look at the Last Bookstore<\/b>, which is inspired by the feel of a classic library lounge.<\/p>\n The Morning Advertiser will be reporting on the conference sessions in the coming days. <\/p>\n Sign up to our daily newsletter <\/b>here<\/b><\/a> to be the first to read what our experts had to day.<\/p>\n The third and final MA Leaders conference will take place in Nottingham<\/a> on Thursday 15 October.
