Vanessa Feltz was left \u2018furious\u2019 after finding out her Channel 5<\/a> show was axed after just one year, it\u2019s been reported.<\/p>\n The eponymous talk show, described as \u2018raw, unfiltered, authentic and personal\u2019, airs on weekdays at 2pm where the TV personality, 64 and promises \u2018fiery discussions, a good giggle and plenty of afternoon gossip!\u2019.<\/p>\n It seems her daily dose of afternoon fun hasn\u2019t quite made the cut to return to screens with 5 confirming it would be put to rest on July 17 \u2018due to afternoon scheduled changes\u2019.<\/p>\n The network told Metro <\/strong>in a statement: \u2018We thank Vanessa and her team at ITN for 18 months of warm, witty, wise and searingly honest shows. Vanessa remains a valued member of the 5 family, and we are discussing future\u00a0projects together.\u2019<\/p>\n Sources close to the situation have claimed that Vanessa was left \u2018blindsided\u2019 by the decision and stormed out of the studios in a fury when talks broke down.<\/p>\n The insider told Daily Mail<\/a>: \u2018Vanessa was brought into a meeting after her show came off air this week. She had no idea what the meeting was about and certainly didn\u2019t expect to be told it was not being renewed.<\/p>\n \t\t \u2018She feels so blindsided but also let down by bosses.\u2019<\/p>\n In particular, sources claim that, alongside reportedly low ratings, the show was unable to control the regular prank calls which occurred during the phone-in portion of the show and strategies to stop them didn\u2019t work.<\/p>\n Adding that the Celebrity Big Brother<\/a> star has \u2018given her all to the show\u2019, they said she is \u2018truly devastated, but also for her team too, many of whom will now need to find new jobs.\u2019<\/p>\n The time the show has been on air has not been without controversy. In fact, one moment became the fourth most complained about on British TV in 2025. <\/p>\n When Karen Millen appeared on the show to criticise breastfeeding beyond six months, it garnered thousands of Ofcom complaints<\/a>.<\/p>\n \t\t Meanwhile, it has struggled to draw in an audience, with the Evening Standard reporting that its debut episode only secured 83,000 viewers.<\/p>\n At the time, she said: \u2018I know I\u2019ve upset a lot of your viewers and that was not my intention\u2019.<\/p>\n Vanessa left her 33-year-long gig on This Morning in 2025<\/a> and launched her rebooted talk show shortly after.<\/p>\n At the time, she told Metro<\/strong> that if she could have also stayed on<\/a> at the ITV<\/a> daytime show, she would have, however.<\/p>\n \u2018I almost believed I\u2019d be able to do that, but I think apparently, it\u2019s not the way it\u2019s done\u2026 but I\u2019d have done it, and I think they would have been happy for me to do it too,\u2019 she reflected.<\/p>\n It is unclear what Vanessa\u2019s next move will be now that her talk show is coming to an end. <\/p>\n Metro has reached out to Vanessa Feltz\u2019s representatives and Channel 5 for comment.<\/p>\n Arrow Arrow Arrow![\"Vanessa](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/SEI_172433503-8206-e1781796527559.jpg\")
