Prince William has remained silent amid his ongoing feud with Prince Harry<\/a>, but his latest gesture could be set to annoy his brother.<\/p>\n

The Prince of Wales<\/a> is believed to have cut ties with Harry and Meghan Markle<\/a> after their continuous public criticisms of the royal family. Harry confessed in a BBC interview that “some members of my family will never forgive me” for writing his tell-all book, Spare.<\/p>\n

The tension between the royal siblings<\/a> persists and it’s unlikely to ease with William’s surprise appearance on the popular series Clarkson’s Farm.<\/p>\n

William’s cameo comes after he attended a Duchy of Cornwall event honoring the new generation of farming tenants in Bristol, where he encountered Clarkson’s Farm personalities Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland.<\/p>\n

During the event, William conveyed a humorous note to Kaleb from his son, Prince George. “You’ve got George watching now,” William said to the farmer.<\/p>\n

He continued, “I said to him, ‘What shall I say if I meet Kaleb?’ He said, ‘Tell Kaleb to mind his language.'”<\/p>\n

Kaleb later acknowledged his penchant for colorful language on the show, “I did get told off for swearing too much…I tried to stop, but at the same time, it’s awesome. That’s what I like about the whole show…I’ve had so many people thank me, going, ‘You brought the family together.’ It’s a great feeling.”<\/p>\n

The buzz around William’s appearance on Clarkson’s Farm comes more than two years after Jeremy Clarkson faced intense criticism for a column about Meghan, which was ultimately retracted by its publisher.<\/p>\n

In December 2022, Clarkson wrote a controversial piece for The Sun where he expressed loathing for Prince Harry<\/a>‘s wife “on a cellular level” and fantasized about her being humiliated publicly in a manner reminiscent of medieval punishment.<\/p>\n

Clarkson later admitted in a tweet that his comments were “a clumsy reference to a scene in Game of Thrones,” but conceded that it “has gone down badly with a great many people.”<\/p>\n

The article triggered swift condemnation, prompting The Sun to take down the content from its website.<\/p>\n

Following more than 25,000 complaints to Ipso, the Independent Press Standards Organisation deemed the column sexist. Both The Sun and Clarkson offered apologies.<\/p>\n

However, representatives for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex contested Clarkson’s assertion that he had apologized to both Meghan and Harry. In a January 2023 statement, they clarified, “On December 25, 2022, Mr. Clarkson wrote solely to Prince Harry<\/a>, The Duke of Sussex. The contents of his correspondence were marked Private and Confidential.”<\/p>\n

The statement went on to say, “While a new public apology has been issued today by Mr. Clarkson, what remains to be addressed is his long-standing pattern of writing articles that spread hate rhetoric, dangerous conspiracy theories and misogyny.<\/p>\n
