one of Scotland\u2019s biggest festival.<\/p>\n<p>The rain never let up and neither did the enthusiasm of the smaller than usual, determined crowd looking forward to an evening filled with music followed by watching <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/scotland\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Scotland<\/a>\u2018s historic game against <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/sport\/football\/team\/2339041\/morocco\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Morocco<\/a> which kicks off at 11pm.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSign up secured a late licence in order to turn the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/festival\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">festival<\/a> into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/scotland\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Scotland<\/a>\u2018s biggest fanzone later tonight with chief executive Geoff Elliss hoping to see a \u2018sea of saltires\u2019 when the game kicks off.<\/p>\n<p>Before the big game though, it was all eyes on the two stages.<\/p>\n<p>Fife man Cammy Barnes opened the main stage on a very soggy and dreary afternoon, but his country melodies hit all the right notes and got the crowd dancing in the rain.<\/p>\n<p>The typically Scottish conditions were seemingly perfect for Scots band Beluga Lagoon \u2013 a band whose music is influenced by the great outdoors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-readmore__headline\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tREAD MORE ON THE SCOTTISH The K\u2019s changed up the tempo and mood with tracks from their albums I Wonder If the World Knows and Pretty on the Internet.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/who\/nile-rodgers\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nile Rodgers<\/a> and Chic were the biggest hit of the late afternoon and stormed onstage just as the rain finally let up and the sun threatened to make an appearance.<\/p>\n<p>The soul legend wowed the crowd with hits such as Le Freak, Everybody Dance, I\u2019m Coming Out and a cover of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/daft-punk\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Daft Punk<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/who\/pharrell-williams\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pharrell Williams<\/a>\u2018 Lose Yourself to Dance.<\/p>\n<p>Over on the King Tut\u2019s stage South Arcade, New Dad and Luvcat all rocked the afternoon out despite the rain and the crowds didn\u2019t appear to mind the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/weather\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">weather<\/a> either.<\/p>\n<p>Among the drenched revellers were pals Scarlett Carruthers 29, Grace Hutchison, 26, and Rachel Curran, 17, all from Prestwick.<\/p>\n<p>The trio were in great spirits despite the dreary weather soaking them to the skin.<\/p>\n<p>Nile Rodgers and Chic were the We <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/live\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">live<\/a> in Scotland. We can\u2019t wait to see Wolf Alice and of course we will be staying for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/football\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">football<\/a> to see Scotland winning, hopefully.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Grace added: \u201cThe weather is not putting us off. We are ready for Scotland to win!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Also enjoying the wet vibes were David Platt, 28, and Betty Valencia, 29, from Ayrshire.<br \/>The pair were taking shelter from the rain in matching ponchos and were loving\u00a0 very minute.<\/p>\n<p>Betty said: \u201cWe are just happy to be here. We don\u2019t care about the rain. It\u2019s not putting us off. We\u2019ve got our waterproofs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pal David added: \u201cWe are so looking forward to Scotland playing Morocco and I think they can win, definitely.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/glasgow\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Glasgow<\/a> mum Michelle Logan, 52, was in high spirits early on, sporting Scotland sunglasses and very soggy Scotland jumper.<\/p>\n<p>She said: \u201cI can\u2019t wait to see Dylan John Thomas and then watching Scotland win.
