Here\u2019s your look inside President Trump\u2019s new Air Force One.<\/p>\n Trump\u2019s new Air Force One livery<\/p>\n Of course, most people will only ever see Trump\u2019s new Air Force One from the outside \u2013 and even then, it will look very different from its presidential predecessors.<\/p>\n Flying the colours: Air Force One’s bold new red, white and blue livery.<\/p>\n This 747-8, and the rest of the\u00a0\u2018executive fleet\u2019, will be adorned in a striking colour palette of red, white, gold and dark blue.<\/p>\n This is based on Trump\u2019s preferred red, white and blue colour scheme, rather than the iconic \u2018soft blue and white\u2019 livery which has been the executive jet\u2019s signature look since the time of President Kennedy.<\/p>\n \u201cWe want power blue, not baby blue,\u201d Trump remarked in January 2025.<\/p>\n Trump’s original Air Force One scheme.<\/p>\n The design of Trump\u2019s new Air Force One<\/p>\n This Boeing 747 was one of four flown almost exclusively by members of the royal family of Qatar<\/a>.<\/p>\n After rolling out of the Boeing factory in 2012 \u2013 yes, this \u2018new\u2019 Air Force One is actually 14 years old \u2013 it was customised for the Qatari government by Swiss firm AMAC Aerospace, which initially shared these photos and details on its website before removing them earlier this year.<\/p>\n More than three years were spent on the project, under the direction of French interior designer Yves Pickardt, in what was regarded as the world\u2019s largest and most ambitious private jet project.<\/p>\n French designer Yves Pickardt took his design cues from the cabins of superyachts and luxury apartments.<\/p>\n Pickardt made full use of the 747\u2019s main deck and upper deck while still delivering a VVIP configuration with just 89 passenger seats across a total of 420m2 of cabin space.
