\n\tChris Brown<\/a> has found himself in legal trouble<\/a> once again. The 36-year-old was arrested in the United Kingdom this week in connection with an alleged 2023 assault<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\t Breezy was in the UK for his current tour and was taken into custody at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester. \u201cA 36-year-old man was arrested at a hotel in Manchester shortly after 02:00hrs on Thursday, 15 May on suspicion of grievous bodily harm,\u201d a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said. \u201cHe has been taken into custody where he remains. The arrest relates to an incident at a venue in Hanover Square on 19 February 2023. The investigation is being led by detectives from the Central West Area Basic Command Unit.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAllegedly, Brown assaulted producer Abe Diaw with a bottle of alcohol at Tape nightclub, per TMZ<\/a>. Diaw, per his lawsuit<\/a>, claims that the \u201cForever\u201d singer also stomped on his head while he was on the ground, rendering him unconscious. He also claims that the two-time Grammy winner<\/a> spread \u201cfalse rumors\u201d about him after the alleged incident. <\/p>\n

\n\tReportedly, authorities attempted to correspond with Chris Brown around the time of the alleged 2023 assault, but he left the country before he could be questioned. The status of the lawsuit and Brown\u2019s upcoming shows are both unclear, and neither he nor his team has commented on the arrest. <\/p>\n

\n\tChris Brown had just been cleared to travel and perform in the United Kingdom a few years ago, serving a 10-year ban following his assault of Rihanna. Priti Patel, former Home Secretary, lifted the ban in 2020 without explaining.
