This is the DWP benefit reserved for older households on low income.<\/p>\n<p>According to Quilter&#8217;s analysis, around \u00a37 in every \u00a310 underpaid was due to administrative failings rather than claimant error.<\/p>\n<p>Outside of underpayments, DWP figures revealed that \u00a3190million in state pension payments were made incorrectly last year, despite an extremely low error rate.<\/p>\n<p>The overpayment rate for the benefit, which currently supports over 12 million people across the UK, stands at just 0.1 per cent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do you have a money story you\u2019d like to share?
