A 20-metre 5G mobile phone mast would be built next to Lawrence Hill roundabout, according to new plans recently submitted.<\/p>\n
Each week Bristol City Council<\/a> receives dozens of planning applications seeking consent for a whole range of developments.<\/p>\n Over the past seven days, those applications also included the demolition of an extension and outbuilding to make way for a new three-bedroom home in Shirehampton a a garage and conservatory to be knocked down and replaced with a two-bedroom house in Knowle<\/a>.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s this week\u2019s round-up of notable planning applications submitted to the council.<\/p>\n Every week dozens are validated by the local authority and we have selected some of the more interesting proposals.<\/p>\n All planning applications submitted to the council have to be validated and are available for inspection by the public.<\/p>\n Anyone is also allowed to submit comments about the applications \u2014 whether in support or objection.<\/p>\n The majority of applications are decided by planning officers at the council under delegated powers.<\/p>\n However, some will go before elected councillors who sit on planning committees.<\/p>\n No dates have been set for when the planning applications below will be determined.<\/p>\n They can be viewed by going to the planning portal<\/a> on Bristol City Council\u2019s website.<\/p>\n Phone mast<\/strong><\/p>\n A 20-metre mobile phone mast<\/a> would be installed next to Lawrence Hill roundabout.<\/p>\n EE and H3G are asking if prior approval is required for the communications tower at Easton<\/a> Road.<\/p>\n The operators\u2019 application said the new mast would replace an existing one at The Old Exchange, previously Clarence House, in Clarence Road, St Jude\u2019s.<\/p>\n New house to replace extension<\/strong><\/p>\n A single-storey extension and outbuilding would be bulldozed and replaced with a new three-bedroom home<\/a>.<\/p>\n In planning documents, architects said the existing building at Lower High Street in Shirehampton was end-of-terrace and had a bigger garden than neighbouring properties.<\/p>\n They said: \u201cThe proposed new house has been designed to avoid any overlooking from the new house into existing adjacent houses or gardens.\u201d<\/p>\n
