Jimmy Kimmel is taking a two-month break from his late-night show, but Donald Trump won\u2019t be getting a reprieve anytime soon.<\/a><\/p>\n

The TV host<\/a> announced on his show this week that another longtime enemy of the president\u2019s<\/a> will be filling in for him during his planned hiatus.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope you\u2019re paying attention this summer, because I will be taking the next two months off \u2014 this time voluntarily,\u201d Kimmel joked, referring to his temporary suspension last year over comments about conservative commentator Charlie Kirk\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have assembled a potent group of hosts to fill in for me, beginning with Tiffany Haddish, Colman Domingo, Ike Barinholtz, Anthony Anderson, Jelly Roll,\u201d Kimmel said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd as a special treat for our commander in chief, I asked one of his all-time favorites, Rosie O\u2019Donnell, to be here to keep the hits coming,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re welcome, and all I ask in return, Mr. President, is that you don\u2019t do anything stupid while I\u2019m gone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimmel began taking lengthy summer hiatuses in 2020, saying he wanted to spend more time with his family. Since then, summer guest-host periods have become an annual tradition for Jimmy Kimmel Live! This year\u2019s guest hosts will start the week of July 6.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Donnell\u2019s long-running feud with Trump <\/a>stretches back to 2006, when she was a host on The View.<\/p>\n

It reached new heights during Trump\u2019s 2015 presidential campaign. When moderator Megyn Kelly challenged Trump during a Republican debate about derogatory comments he had made about women, Trump famously replied: \u201cOnly Rosie O\u2019Donnell.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since then, the pair have frequently traded barbs over social media.<\/p>\n

The actor and comedian, 63, moved to Ireland in January<\/a> with her youngest child, Clay, in response to Trump\u2019s return to the White House. <\/p>\n

During an interview on the No Filter<\/a> podcast, O\u2019Donnell said she decided not to attend her other daughter, Vivienne\u2019s, graduation from the University of Delaware last year because \u201csecurity people said to me they didn’t think it was wise.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause I think Trump will use me to rile his base,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Late last year, Trump, 79, posted a distorted photograph of the star and claimed<\/a>: \u201cWe are giving serious thought to taking away Rosie O\u2019Donnell\u2019s Citizenship.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response to Trump\u2019s post threatening to take away her citizenship, O\u2019Donnell wrote on Instagram: \u201cBanishing me again?
