Cammy Devlin could be the latest key Hearts man to make the jump to Rangers.<\/a><\/p>\n That is according to Gordon Strachan, who reckons Gorgie chiefs will be “worried” that the 28-year-old could follow captain Lawrence Shankland and boss Derek McInnes down the M8 to Ibrox.<\/p>\n Devlin is a free agent after running down his Tynecastle contract – and currently on World Cup<\/a> duty with Australia.<\/p>\n He is expected to leave a decision on his future until after the Socceroos\u2019 involvement in North America comes to an end.<\/p>\n Record Sport <\/strong>understands Real Salt Lake are leading the chase for the star man, while MLS rivals Chicago Fire and Seattle Sounders have also shown an interest.<\/p>\n Hearts are still in talks over a new deal, he could remain in Gorgie where he has spent the last five years – but the offer from Real outweighs anything else on the table, and is being considered by Devlin.<\/a><\/p>\n But Strachan reckons that McInnes could hijack any deal – with the player facing a decision about the “level” he wants to test himself at.<\/p>\n Speaking to Play UK,<\/a> former Celtic and Scotland boss Strachan said: \u201cWho will Hearts<\/a> fans be worried about losing to Rangers? Cammy Devlin.<\/p>\n “They wouldn’t want Devlin to go, he’s been marvellous for them.<\/p>\n \u201cHe has to decide if he wants to continue at that level with Hearts or test himself somewhere else.<\/p>\n “It can be a problem for Hearts if players go to the World Cup and hear about how their team-mates are getting on at other clubs.
