Lewis Hamilton<\/a> has been criticised for his handling of a difficult opening few months at Ferrari<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After he finished behind team-mate Charles Leclerc at the Chinese Grand Prix, the British star openly hinted that an element of his car was slowing him down.<\/p>\n

Former F1 driver Christian Danner has urged Ferrari<\/a> boss Fred Vasseur to put Hamilton in his place over the comments.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s not really coming to terms with the whole issue,\u201d Danner told the AvD Motorsport Magazine<\/a>. \u201cYou can tell he\u2019s a bit unsettled, almost a bit snotty, and complains about this and that.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, I expect \u2013 not necessarily for Bahrain, but at some point, of course \u2013 that Ferrari<\/a> will respond to that. Fred Vasseur can\u2019t let the driver say there\u2019s a component on the car that\u2019s hindering my performance.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t envy Fred because he really wants to make it work. He really wants Lewis to have everything.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think it\u2019s very clever to make such cryptic accusations against the team.
