Police are searching for two male suspects, both described as white, after a man was chased onto Thorndean Avenue and seriously assaulted at the weekend.<\/p>\n

An urgent manhunt has been launched for two suspects after a serious assault in Bellshill<\/a> at the weekend.<\/p>\n

Detectives say a young 24-year-old man was on Coltness Drive when he was approached by two men who chased him onto Thorndean Avenue, where they seriously assaulted<\/a> him, around 11.55pm on Saturday, June 20. He was taken to hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n

The first suspect is described as white and of slim build. He was wearing a dark-coloured hoodie, black shorts and a skeleton balaclava.<\/p>\n

The second suspect was white and of medium build. He was also wearing a skeleton balaclava, a black and grey padded jacket, black jogging trousers with grey patches at the knee and grey trainers.<\/p>\n

Detective Constable David Nolan said: \u201cEnquiries are ongoing to trace the two men responsible and I would appeal to the local community for any assistance.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you have any information that could assist please contact us. Anyone with dash-cam or personal footage is asked to please review it and get in touch if it holds anything which could be relevant.\u201d<\/p>\n
